shower pik oral irrigator, December 29, 2007 we love this product and use it every day. it has been a couple of weeks and i can feel the difference already. it did take a few times to get the hang of it. you have to get the temperature, pressure etc right and it tickles at first. i love having it in the shower to avoid more clutter at the sink. Shower[Breeze] comments, December 29, 2007 Easy to install and easy to use. It does an excellent job of making it easy to clean your teeth. I had to turn my shower way down (initially) because the water pressure was uncomfortably high. I have gotten used to that and my normal pressure is now acceptable. Having the Shower[Breeze] in-place and ready for use allows me to use it without setting anything up for each use. I have used WaterPiks before and they worked fine but required new water in the reservoir each time so I did not use it as often as I think I should. With the Shower[Breeze] ready to go, I use it daily. Beats the Water Pik, October 10, 2007 This is an Oral Breeze "oral irrigator." It is not the plug-in Water Pik brand. The Oral Breeze is far better than the Water Pik because it attaches to your shower head. As such, it provides as much pressure as you like (more than the plug-in type) and it won't leak all over your sink like the Water Pik plug-in. My only criticism is that sometimes the hose is hard to maneuver in the shower so you must turn your head to use it properly rather than just maneuvering the pik. This beats flossing. All in, highly recommended. Excellent product, October 10, 2007 I absolutely love this thing. I have a receding gumline, and the dentist said the only thing I could do is try to prevent it from getting any worse by using a water pick. I had tried one that hooked up to the sink in the past, and I hated it, because it was so messy. When I saw this, I figured it was worth giving it a try. It works wonderfully, and I can tell a big difference in the health of my gums and teeth. Unlike the traditional waterpiks it doesn't take up counter space, and water doesn't get sprayed all over your bathroom, and since it is in shower I use it everyday. I also have braces and it works very well at cleaning them. I would reccomend to get the 6ft hose though, I purchased the 3ft and it gives just enough room to face the shower head and work around your mouth. This is a great product! Oral Irrigator ShowerPik, August 4, 2007 This is a fantastic product! You should Google the link between gum disease, heart disease, and diabetes and you will find a mind blowing link. Bacteria enter your body from under your gums and travel through the rest of your system doing all variety of bad things to your internal organs. Who knew! This product installs easily right at your shower head and serves as a really great way to blast away the plack...much more powerful than an ordinary water pick because you are dealing with water at house pressure. It tickles a bit at first but you will get used to in in a couple of months. I was able to reduce my 5 millimeter pockets in the back of my mouth to zero in six months. If you are really tricky and breath through your nose as you clean your gums you can sometimes smell the bacteria being flushed away...yuck. Truly Clean Teeth!, July 12, 2007 Trying to maintain dental prophylaxis preventing disease by keeping the teeth and mouth free of food particles and plaque becomes more difficult the older we get. Bruushing and flossing doesn't quite get all of the particles so water jets seem to be a better method. Less mess, no moving parts to break., May 8, 2007 Searched for a water pik for some time before deciding on this. Many reviews stated problems with pump failure in water pik and similar products. No pump or other moving parts in the Shower[Breeze] (except the valve to adjust water pressure). Easy, 5 minute installation. Teeth feel very clean after using Shower[Breeze]. PLENTY of available water pressure (I use at less than 50% pressure!), but easily adjustable with a valve. No mess, because it is in the shower! The only con is that it tickles my lips (really, it's a bit uncomfortable) when I use it (but I have never used a water pik or similar device previously). Instructions say your mouth will get accustomed to it soon (I've only had this a few days). Overall, highly pleased with it, and the seller was great as well. convenient, May 7, 2007 We really like the convenience of the Shower[Breeze] being so handy in the shower. I believe that this is one of the reasons we fail to do things that we sometimes need is from the lack of convenience. HARD NOT TO KEEP GOOD HABITS!!!, May 4, 2007 I usually brush my teeth in the shower, so this is a perfect complement. Makes my teeth and mouth feel clean, and the benefits to the gums will be of long-term benefit. Looking forward to my next dentist visit; curious to see how much less plaque I'm going to have and the healthier gums. Fairly well made, but a little hard to adjust., March 28, 2007 Fairly well made, provides a steady stream of water (does not pulse). While you can adjust the stream, it is a little difficult to tell exactly how hard to adjust it each time to get maximum effectiveness while not having too hard a stream. Nevertheless, I am using it everyday and believe it to be beneficial. I like having it in the shower rather than in the sink or sitting on the counter next to the sink. ONE YEAR UPDATE: I am still using it and along with a Sonic Care toothbrush have had a definite improvement in my gums verified by my dentist. The difficulty in adjusting it continues to be a problem, but only a minor problem. Finally, A Good Habit I Can Easily Form, May 31, 2006 Like many people, I find it hard to break bad habits and even harder to form good ones. a quality product @ 1/2 the price of NAME BRAND stuff, April 19, 2006 ive owned a few oral irrigators, a Braun and a Teledyne. Both were good units. No complaints really, unit I bought a Qucik[Breeze] from Tom, at 1/2 the cost of my previous name brand ones. More actualy, I paid $60+ formy Bruan. And these are less a hassle, they screw on permanently. So no more off/on, off/on with the Quick[Breeze], its ALWAYS on. Plus you can get a lot more water pressure from these than you can from the name brand stuff. Tom: You are the best; thank you so very much. And, again I will be spreading the word about your terrific product. Thanks so much. Susan We had a very pricey [competing product], which we bought from our dentist. We were in the process of moving to another state, never used it. A year later, we finally took it out of the box, it lasted about 4 months (we did not use it daily) before the pump wore out, real nice for a $120, yeah, I'm still bitter. My husband wanted another one and started doing some research when he came across RediBreeze and the glowing reviews here. This was less expensive than the others we were looking at and figured why not? It has no motor/pump to fail on us. We love it. First, no noise; silence, peaceful, especially before you go to bed. The pick is always attached to the faucet, just a matter of turning a switch, so simple it is brilliant. I use this more often than I did the other one. After brushing one's teeth, adjust water flow first (you don't want to blast your teeth away), insert pick, turn switch, and enjoy your mouth massage. So happy the other one died.... This is a wonderful product. I have been battling gum disease forever, and FINALLY something that can be used without a total mess at the sink! (not to mention the germs) I bought the shower breeze and use it daily...you will be amazed at how clean your mouth and gums get--my gums have improved dramatically--I highly recommend this product! This works great. It is so much more convenient than the type with the reservoir. The customer service also was excellent. I had a problem with the installation and called for help and received a prompt , courteous response. I will never go back to the stand alone dental water units again. No motor to ever wear out and so much easier to use. I find myself using it twice daily instead of the one time a day hassle of "filling the tank". I purchased this product for my daughter who has braces because her bathroom sink has very little room and could not fit an OralB product with a water storage tank. It works very well, does not leak, and we can still use the faucet for hand washing and other things. Great little gadget. I have been using the RediBreeze for several months. It was easy to install and mechanically there have been no problems at all. I think it has helped me have healthier gums and fresher breath. I would say I enjoy using it which was a bit of a surprise. The only problem is if you forget to turn the shut-off valve when you are done and you have it attached to the wall above the sink. In that case the next time you turn on the water you have a fountain! I have received your shipment, it came in the mail very quickly. I am very satisfied with your customer service and I just installed your product yesterday (pretty easy installation instructions and thanks for including the plumbers tape, I would have had no idea what it was otherwise!) and just started using it. Hello Tom, I neglected my teeth for many years and when I went to see a dentist in 2004 for the first time in about 15 years he took a few weeks to scrape all the accumulated plaque and other stuff away, and then pronounced my teeth to be in trouble -- I had severe gum disease. I did my best to care for my teeth and gums from then on (including buying the expensive electric- powered Waterpik) but every 6-monthly visit meant more scraping. Some of my teeth were becoming loose. I then moved to the town where I now live and didn't go to the dentist for 18 months. I eventually went to a new dentist in August or September 2007 and he confirmed that the gum disease had got even worse -- it was likely that I would lose several lower teeth at the front and one or more molars. He did some scraping -- about half of my mouth -- and I made an appointment to see him 2 months later (this is small town and he is a very busy man) so he could scrape the rest. When I got home your Red[Breeze] had arrived and I immediately started using it. My gums bled copiously at first and I had to keep the water pressure very low. But the bleeding gradually lessened and by the time of the next visit to the dentist I was using quite strong water pressure. I was also rinsing with salt water, flossing, using Piksters, and rinsing with Biotene. The dentist was amazed at the improvement in my gums and teeth, and in the remarkable reduction in disease. I have continued my cleaning regime and now the bleeding has stopped and my teeth feel more secure. I am due to see the dentist again in mid-May and hope that he will find even more improvement. Australia Great, great product! Well made! My husband and I are thrilled with the [ShowerBreeze]! We will gladly give the [ShowerBreeze] a high review thru Amazon and Oral Breeze, LLC a high seller rating. However, we have a small problem: the 3' hose is not long enough to allow us to use the device before bed, while dressed, without our clothes or pajamas becoming wet. I have tried manipulating the showerhead and [ShowerBreeze] for several weeks now with no success. We typically shower in the morning but want to use the [ShowerBreeze] before going to bed. This, of course, is a bigger problem for me than for my husband who delightedly suggested we simply get 'nekkid' every time we floss our teeth. While generally I am not opposed to getting 'nekkid' I do not believe it should be a requirement for using your product. Would you kindly send me a longer hose. D. S. I've been using an oral irrigator as part of my dental hygienics for a long time. I use to be a [competing product] fan for many years until recently. My first [competing product] lasted over ten years. Fair enough for a home appliance. So about a year ago I bought their new model; big mistake. The cheap brittle hose snapped after a few months. Being a technically savvy sort I was able to get the machine apart, and reattach the hose. Then it started breaking at the handle. That took a little more finesse and some Super Glue. After the third time it broke off at the handle, I had my fill with a poorly made product. I have to say I think your product is wonderful, as it is easy to use. The system leaks at the head when on the high setting, and the water tank tips over due to the poor mounting and the stiff hose that knocks it over. As much as I enjoy your product, there is one thing I was disappointed about. It's really minor but never the less important to me. I received two [tips] that are green and yellow. The two colors that I absolutely detest. When I saw the pictures online, the colors of the [tips] were blue and red.
