I saw something so amazing last week, I just had to tell you. 8 weeks ago a new patient came in for an evaluation. Another dentist told her she needed deep cleanings and gum surgery. She wanted a second opinion.

I’ve been promoting pressure irrigation in my rural practice for over 20 years.

I’ve tried all the rest and, in my opinion, the Oral Breeze [ShowerBreeze™] is the best.  Most people burn out quickly with electric and faucet models because of the mess and splatter. With a [ShowerBreeze™], the mess stays inside an already wet shower.  Also, the pressure and temperature are easily adjustable on the [ShowerBreeze™] a feature lacking in other models.

I have been recommending the Oral Breeze for several years to my patients.  I see a marked improvement in their tissue color, consistency, and their probing depths with just adding the Oral Breeze water jet to their home care regimen.  I find much greater patient compliance with the water jet that connects directly to the water source as opposed to the counter top models.  I do believe there is a right way to use an oral irrigator.  I instruct my patients to hold the tip at a right angle in between each and every tooth for 8 to 10 seconds per tooth.  I explain to them about the physics principle called the Venturi effect:  where there is a higher pressure (the water flow) going over an area with a lower pressure (the periodontal pocket) it will create a vacuum and draw the bacteria out from under the gums.  This effect will not happen in 2 - 3 seconds.  They must spend the proper amount of time on each inter-proximal space.  Also, as that water flows across the pocket it will create oxygen bubbles and water that will flow down into the pocket and disrupt the anaerobic bacteria which is responsible for gum disease.   I have patients that believe their Oral Breeze water jet use has saved them from perio surgery and from losing teeth.  They also love how clean their mouth feels and say they cannot believe how much stuff comes out even after brushing and flossing.

I find the ShowerBreeze very convenient for most people and spare them the mess on the mirror and counter.  However, for orthodontic patients the QuikBreeze  is a must have.  I was in orthodontics for the past year and found the most annoying part was the food that gets caught in your braces.  I would not have been without my QuickBreeze!  These products are so much more convenient and effective than the counter top models.

I have seen even the most difficult noncompliant types rave about its ease of use. We had a very pricey [competing product], which we bought from our dentist. We were in the process of moving to another state, never used it. A year later, we finally took it out of the box, it lasted about 4 months (we did not use it daily) before the pump wore out, real nice for a $120, yeah, I'm still bitter. My husband wanted another one and started doing some research when he came across RediBreeze and the glowing reviews here. This was less expensive than the others we were looking at and figured why not? It has no motor/pump to fail on us. We love it. First, no noise; silence, peaceful, especially before you go to bed. The pick is always attached to the faucet, just a matter of turning a switch, so simple it is brilliant. I use this more often than I did the other one. After brushing one's teeth, adjust water flow first (you don't want to blast your teeth away), insert pick, turn switch, and enjoy your mouth massage. So happy the other one died....


This is a wonderful product. I have been battling gum disease forever, and FINALLY something that can be used without a total mess at the sink! I purchased this product for my daughter who has braces because her bathroom sink has very little room and could not fit an OralB product with a water storage tank. It works very well, does not leak, and we can still use the faucet for hand washing and other things. Great little gadget.


I have been using the RediBreeze for several months. It was easy to install and mechanically there have been no problems at all. I think it has helped me have healthier gums and fresher breath. I would say I enjoy using it which was a bit of a surprise. The only problem is if you forget to turn the shut-off valve when you are done and you have it attached to the wall above the sink. In that case the next time you turn on the water you have a fountain!

I neglected my teeth for many years and when I went to see a dentist in 2004 for the first time in about 15 years he took a few weeks to scrape all the accumulated plaque and other stuff away, and then pronounced my teeth to be in trouble -- I had severe gum disease. I did my best to care for my teeth and gums from then on (including buying the expensive electric- powered Waterpik) but every 6-monthly visit meant more scraping. Some of my teeth were becoming loose. I then moved to the town where I now live and didn't go to the dentist for 18 months. I eventually went to  a new dentist in August or September 2007 and he confirmed that the gum disease had got even worse -- it was likely that I would lose several lower teeth at the front and one or more molars. He did some scraping -- about half of my mouth -- and I made an appointment to see him 2 months later (this is small town and he is a very busy man) so he could scrape the rest.

When I got home your Red[Breeze] had arrived and I immediately started using it. My gums bled copiously at first and I had to keep the water pressure very low. But the bleeding gradually lessened and by the time of the next visit to the dentist I was using quite strong water pressure. I was also rinsing with salt water, flossing, using Piksters, and rinsing with Biotene. The dentist was amazed at the improvement in my gums and teeth, and in the remarkable reduction in disease. I have continued my cleaning regime and now the bleeding has stopped and my teeth feel more secure. I am due to see the dentist again in mid-May and hope that he will find even more improvement. I will let you know what he says.

Great, great product! Well made! My husband and I are thrilled with the [ShowerBreeze]! We will gladly give the [ShowerBreeze] a high review thru Amazon and Oral Breeze, LLC a high seller rating.

However, we have a small problem: the 3' hose is not long enough to allow us to use the device before bed, while dressed, without our clothes or pajamas becoming wet. I have tried manipulating the showerhead and [ShowerBreeze] for several weeks now with no success. We typically shower in the morning but want to use the [ShowerBreeze] before going to bed.

This, of course, is a bigger problem for me than for my husband who delightedly suggested we simply get 'nekkid' every time we floss our teeth. While generally I am not opposed to getting 'nekkid' I do not believe it should be a requirement for using your product.

Would you kindly send me a longer hose.

I've been using an oral irrigator as part of my dental hygienics for a long time. I use to be a [competing product] fan for many years until recently. My first [competing product] lasted over ten years. Fair enough for a home appliance. So about a year ago I bought their new model; big mistake. The cheap brittle hose snapped after a few months. Being a technically savvy sort I was able to get the machine apart, and reattach the hose. Then it started breaking at the handle. That took a little more finesse and some Super Glue. After the third time it broke off at the handle, I had my fill with a poorly made product.

So I went in search of an alternative. Oral Breeze's [QuickBreeze™] [QuickBreeze™] - Dental Oral Irrigator was the answer for me. It attaches directly to your faucet where you can adjust the water pressure and temperature with you faucet. It does require you to replace your aerator, but that is not a difficult task. Once you've done that, you can simply attach and detach the unit at will.

Oh, did I mention it's made like gang busters and has a life time warranty. And talk about customer service: I had a small problem with one of the tips (it comes with two), so I called Tom at the customer service number. No problem, he sent out two new tips at no extra cost and included a little gift of Therapics to boot. Wow!

I love this thing, no electricity , no ugly thing-a-ma-tub in the bathroom taking up space. I'm a convert, but I guess you figured that out by now.


I have to say I think your product is wonderful, as it is easy to use.  Plus the water pressure is more adjustable than the counter top models I have used in the past.  Thanks for a great product line.

Your [Breeze™]s have improved my gums noticeably in just a short time that I've been using them.  I had developed soreness in one of my gums that no amount of flossing and rinsing with hydrogen peroxide could alleviate.  My dentist inspected the soreness but could see no tooth decay at the gum line.  She recommended a regime of oral irrigation and salt water rinsing I was already using a standard countertop irrigator but I was dissatisfied with it for the reasons you mention on your website: it took up room on the counter, it required multiple fillings for one irrigation session, and the reservoir harbored bacteria and so forth.  After researching other irrigators on the market, I decided your design made the most sense.  I'm very glad that I chose your product.  The [ShowerBreeze™] is a pleasure to use daily and I expect to use it for the rest of my life.

Thanks for your efforts. The package arrived today. I have to tell you that I am a real fan of your product. As one who has thrown out about 8 [competing products] that died after about two months and tried most others, I wish to congratulate you on a well engineered and creative design. In regards to your oral irrigator, it is wonderful. I can already see my gum line looking better, and it's only been a couple of weeks, and I haven't been able to use it every day, as I only am using the shower one right now, and frequently I shower at the gym instead of at home.

Are you really serious about 15 seconds a day?? Heck, I have been using it for at least 5 min when I do use it! LOL ...am I overdoing it??

Tom, I received my [ShowerBreeze™] (fast shipping!) and couldn’t wait for my husband to get home from work so I installed it myself. It was so easy, especially since you even enclosed the necessary plumber's tape!

And I love my OralBreeze! Cleaned my teeth, cleaned the faucets (I bought the six-foot tubing unit), cleaned the tub, cleaned the shower curtain, cleaned the dog...ok, I didn't clean the dog but I sure will wash him in my bathtub next time so I CAN use it. My brother and I bought the [ShowerBreeze™] from you way back when sliced bread was tops. I guess that dates us. The oral breeze products are now tops.

My excellent dentist and hygienist I found here, corrected my oral damage, and got me on the road to better cleaning habits. In addition, I found and added the [ShowerBreeze™] to my routine a few years ago (that's all you sold at the time), and it has made the difference for me. My hygienist says "keep doing what you're doing, because its getting into the hard spots for plaque removal, and improved your gums and halted the destruction".

When I first ordered the Oralbreeze, I had just gotten braces (for the second time!) When I had them as a kid, I remember needing fillings because I could never get clean around the braces. This time (I just got them off!), no cavities, and the dentist commented on how well my teeth and gums looked. I had been after my husband for a while to adapt a [competing product] to the shower head.

He had thought about a little but nothing had yet developed. I looked for something on the internet out of frustration and lo and behold, as I surmised, someone else had already done it. Thank you!

Our idea was to have a mouth wash reservoir in line also. Maybe you can work on that for us. It's so nice not having to clean and put away a counter top model each day. I love the luxury of ample time and water that your model provides.

Hi Tom,

My [QuickBreeze™] order came in today, thank you very much. It works great! I'm very pleased with it. Much better than the $40 [competing product] I had recently purchased and returned. That items so badly designed I can't believe it's still being sold. The system leaks at the head when on the high setting, and the water tank tips over due to the poor mounting and the stiff hose that knocks it over.

As much as I enjoy your product, there is one thing I was disappointed about. It's really minor but never the less important to me. I received two [tips] that are green and yellow. The two colors that I absolutely detest. When I saw the pictures online, the colors of the [tips] were blue and red. Why did the colors change and would I be able to return these two [tips] for the blue and red ones?
